A Rough Idea We charge EUR 55-00 per hour for HTML, graphics and for the provision and editing of copy, EUR 65-00 per hour for ASP and database design and EUR 20-00 per hour for web site promotion and marketing. These prices EXCLUDE VAT where applicable. If you shop around you will find that these rates are very competitive. Third party charges (if any) are passed on at cost. The budget allocated for a project may also have a significant effect on costs. An enquiry from the developer as to what the client expects to spend may (understandably) make the client a little nervous - but the reality is that even on something as simple as a logo, six hours of fussing will produce (or certainly should produce) a better product than 30 minutes. Bear in mind that every site is built from the ground up - we do not use templates and we raw code the HTML/XML/ASP/Javascript/etc to guarantee the tightest code and best performance with a completely individual 'look'. Obviously this takes more time than slapping something together in a WYSIWYG and has an effect on the cost of the site - but our rates are low and we work fast, so... A 'budget' site should cost around EUR 440-00 for the basic design and around EUR 55-00 per page thereafter - more if we are providing the copy or if the content is "active".
